Matt R (Maciek Rek) is an independent designer and developer.
His work encompasses graphics, identity and websites, exhibitions and installations, layout and signage systems, artworking and coding.
He has in-depth approach to design, working closely with all of his clients to extract a product/service’s key aspects, which form the basis of graphic solutions that are both usable and visually attractive.
Over the past 7 years Matt has been responsible for almost all marketing materials of the ‘top small independent school’ in London area – Hampton Court House. Before that he designed graphic identity and artwork for promotional events, exhibitions and shows in shopping centres across Europe (ECE Group).
Matt’s fusion of aesthetics and technology enables him to achieve great results in web design and development, where hand drawing skills are as important as ability to read and write code.
Matt studied Spatial Planning (faculty of Architecture) but started his career as a self-taught graphic designer, learning the craft in a small studio in his home town Wroclaw, working on packaging and prints for game developer CD Projekt.
